News About Real Estate Agents Acting Bad
It’s sad that some real estate agents have to make all real estate agents look bad. A real estate agent conspired to commit short sale fraud by having the owner of a single family home submit false documents to Tri Counties Bank and Freddie Mac in conjunction with a short sale application. The real estate agent convinced the owner to sell the property to the agent’s son who then transferred the property back to the owner. It always troubles me when a client tells me he/she doesn’t need my help with a short sale because their real estate agent was “taking care of things.” Stories like this is why I was so troubled. The FHFA Office of Inspector General and the Internal Revenue Service, Criminal Investigation, were the government entities who ran the investigation. Serious stuff!
